Al-Rayan Organization for Social Development Concludes Farmer Cooperative Training Workshop in Kutum – June 2026

Al-Rayan Organization for Social Development (RSD) successfully concluded the Farmer Cooperative Training Workshop in Kutum Locality during June 2026, marking the completion of several days of intensive capacity-building activities for representatives of farmer cooperatives as part of the organization's commitment to sustainable agricultural development. The final day of the workshop featured closing training sessions focusing on effective cooperative management, organizational planning, financial management, and cooperative governance. Participants also discussed key challenges facing farmer cooperatives and explored practical strategies for strengthening their performance and long-term sustainability. The closing ceremony included the presentation of certificates of participation to all trainees in recognition of their active engagement and successful completion of the training program. Participants were encouraged to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired to strengthen their cooperatives and contribute to the development of their communities. This workshop forms part of Al-Rayan Organization for Social Development's ongoing efforts to empower farmers, strengthen farmer cooperatives, improve agricultural productivity, enhance livelihoods, and promote food security and sustainable rural development in Sudan.
