Al Rayyan Organization for Social Development and WHH Conduct Community Activities in Rubia

Activity Details
On October 18, 2026, Al Rayyan Organization for Social Development, in collaboration with WHH, conducted several community-based activities in the Rubia area of Tawila.
The activities included the distribution of savings boxes to savings groups in the area, with the aim of supporting community savings initiatives and strengthening the groups’ capacity to manage their savings activities effectively.
An awareness and guidance session was also conducted for local agents and members of the savings groups to enhance their understanding of the groups’ operational procedures and improve savings management practices.
Additionally, a survey using the SHELA methodology was conducted in the Rubia area as part of the field activities implemented by the organization in collaboration with its partner.
Attendance
A total of 85 participants attended the activities, distributed as follows:
- Men: 30 - Women: 35 - Girls: 20
Conclusion
These activities are part of the ongoing efforts of Al Rayyan Organization for Social Development, in collaboration with WHH, to support savings groups, promote a culture of community savings, strengthen the capacity of local agents and savings group members, and conduct field surveys in the Rubia area of Tawila.
