Kutm Locality (or Kuttum) is a rural locality in North Darfur State, western Sudan. It is located in the northeastern part of the state, east of the capital El Fasher, near the border with North Kordofan State.

Mellit locality-North Darfur State, Sudan

Mellit locality

Mellit (or Malit) is a locality in North Darfur State, Sudan. It is located northwest of the state capital, El Fasher. The locality has a semi-arid climate, and its economy is based on pastoralism, rain-fed agriculture, and cross-border trade with Chad. Mellit has been affected by the Darfur conflict, experiencing security and humanitarian challenges, and hosts a number of internally displaced persons (IDPs). The area includes several villages and seasonal valleys (wadis).

Al-Waha Locality - North Darfur State

Al-Waha Locality

Al-Waha Locality (meaning "The Oasis") is an administrative locality in North Darfur State, western Sudan. It was recently established, having previously been part of Mellit Locality. The locality is centered around the area known as "Bir Oassa" (Oasis Well), which features water sources and palm groves in an otherwise arid environment. The economy relies on agriculture (especially vegetables and fruits), camel trading, and pastoralism. Like other parts of Darfur, Al-Waha has faced challenges related to conflict and displacement.

It is located in the far northwestern part of the state, sharing borders with both Libya (to the north) and Chad (to the west). Al Tina is one of the largest localities in the state by area, but it has one of the lowest population densities due to its arid desert environment.
