As part of its efforts to promote community development, economic empowerment, and improved livelihoods, Al Rayyan Organization for Social Development has implemented several important field activities in the Tarni area. These activities aim to support Savings Groups, strengthen local community capacities, and promote agricultural activities and improved storage practices for agricultural supplies. 📌 Key Activities Implemented in Tarni 🔹 Distribution of Savings Boxes to Savings Groups The organization distributed savings boxes to Savings Groups in the Tarni area to promote a culture of saving, encourage community members to improve their financial management, and strengthen self-reliance. 🔹 Orientation Session for Local Agents and Savings Groups An orientation session was conducted for local agents and Savings Groups to strengthen their understanding of group operations, clarify roles and responsibilities, and support the sustainability of savings activities and the achievement of their objectives. 🔹 Implementation of the SHEILA Methodology Survey As part of the organization's efforts to collect information to guide development interventions, a SHEILA methodology survey was conducted in the Tarni area. This activity contributes to planning and ensuring that interventions respond to the needs of the local community. 🔹 Handover of a Storage Facility to the Agricultural Extension Officer The organization also handed over a designated storage facility to the agricultural extension officer in the Tarni area for storing agricultural tools and equipment, crops, and pesticides.
