Alrayan for Social Development (RSD) organized a specialized training program for Community-Based Agricultural Advisors (Last Mile Dealers) in Tawilla, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the agricultural sector and support smallholder farmers. The program aims to qualify these advisors and equip them with the necessary technical knowledge and skills to deliver agricultural extension services, disseminate modern farming practices, and distribute essential inputs (such as improved seeds and fertilizers) to farmers in remote villages. They serve as the critical last-mile link between agricultural services and rural producers. The training witnessed active engagement from participants, who emphasized that this initiative will contribute to raising agricultural productivity, improving crop quality, and enhancing food security at the community level. This program is part of the organization’s broader strategy to build local capacities and empower rural communities to achieve self-reliance and economic sustainability. Through these initiatives, Alrayan for Social Development continues to reinforce its pioneering role in agricultural and community development, in line with its vision for comprehensive and sustainable development in the most underserved areas.
