As part of its efforts to strengthen agricultural development and improve rural livelihoods, Al-Rayan Organization for Social Development (RSD) conducted the handing over of Start-up Kits to Last Mile Dealers in Tawila Locality during June 2026, under the Strengthening Agriculture and Livelihood for Women and Girls in Sudan project. The initiative targeted Last Mile Dealers serving rural communities, aiming to equip them with the resources needed to supply agricultural inputs and essential farming materials to farmers in remote areas, thereby improving access to agricultural services and strengthening local supply chains. The Start-up Kits included a range of essential agricultural tools and equipment designed to help local dealers establish their businesses and provide reliable services to farming communities, contributing to increased agricultural productivity and sustainable rural economic development. Al-Rayan Organization reaffirmed that this initiative reflects its commitment to building community capacity, empowering local agricultural entrepreneurs, and strengthening the agricultural sector through sustainable, community-based service delivery. Establishing a network of Last Mile Dealers represents an important step toward ensuring timely access to agricultural inputs, improving farmers' productivity, and enhancing food security and resilient livelihoods across rural communities.
