📢 Nutrition Activity | Supporting the Continuity of Nutrition Services in the Western Localities of North Darfur State

As part of ongoing efforts to support and ensure the continuity of nutrition services in Kernoy, Um Baru, and Tina Localities in North Darfur State, quantities of additional Ready-to-Use Supplementary Food (RUSF) were received to support nutrition activities at targeted health facilities and nutrition centers. This intervention aims to: • Ensure the continuity of treatment for children suffering from acute malnutrition. • Reduce the risk of shortages or stock-outs of therapeutic food at nutrition centers. • Ensure the availability of supplies according to actual needs and the approved distribution plan. Quantities Received: • Kernoy: 448 cartons • Um Baru: 536 cartons • Tina: Quantity to be added once confirmed • Confirmed total so far: 984 cartons The received supplies were inspected and verified in accordance with the approved receiving procedures. They will then be distributed to the targeted nutrition centers based on their needs and consumption rates.
